Thermal Printer Services Take Delivery of a Daco DTD250

Thermal Printer Services was formed in 2006 supplying thermal printers and providing technical support and repair for Datamax-O’Neil, Toshiba TEC & Zebra label printers along with labels that were outsourced.  The business was founded on the idea of offering customers a complete label printing solution and with this in mind they chose Daco Solutions to provide them with a DTD250 label converter.

TPS has always focussed on providing a great support and maintenance service; in fact, this is where TPS was born. Their fully trained engineers offer onsite label printer repairs and maintenance contracts throughout the UK.

Having now added our new Daco DTD250 label converter to our production equipment, we are now fully set up to offer top quality thermal transfer and direct thermal labels to our customers, by producing our labels in house, we are able to keep a close eye on the quality of the products we are sending out and to react quickly to give our label customers a really quick turnaround time, commented Chris Parfitt, Managing Director – Thermal Printer Services.

Our customers demand top quality products at great prices and in turn, we are quite demanding, with this in mind we were really pleased to have worked with Mark and the team at Daco, Mark was really supportive throughout the process, he knows this industry very well and after a couple of phone calls he had a clear idea of the specification we needed.

It was during delivery and installation that we realised how impressed we were with our purchase, the Daco DTD250 is an extremely well built and cleverly engineered machine, having now used it for several months we are still impressed by the overall build quality and ease of use, I can’t imagine it ever letting us down.

Mark Laurence, Sales Manager at Daco Solutions, added we are seeing a growing trend in companies such as TPS that resell labels bringing label production in house to serve their customer base.  For a modest investment they can control quality, delivery times and increase profit margins.  We are able to advise on the correct machine for the required production output as well as paper suppliers, die manufacturers that is required to make getting into manufacturing as smooth as possible.

I personally believe that this machine is the start of a long working relationship between our companies.
