Labelexpo America’s 2022 – Great to be back.

Daco Solutions shared a stand with their USA agent Flexoexport at the recent Labelexpo America’s 2022.  Due to the recent Covid situation, Daco had not exhibited at an exhibition since Labelexpo Europe 2019 and looked forward to what Labelexpo America could offer.

Visitor numbers to the booth were good, and quality enquiries for the Daco PLR Semi-Automatic Turret Rewinder we were exhibiting did not disappoint. It became apparent over the few days of the exhibition that the PLR350 could be modified slightly for the US market.

Upon return from the show, the design team re-drew the machine to incorporate a 1m (40”) unwind and integrated this into the existing body of the PLR to allow the previous external unwind to be included. This would allow for easier installation on-site and would bring this down to minutes instead of hours. The machine would only need levelling, power and air and could easily be installed by the client, saving costs for engineers from the factory or the agent.

Machines have already been sold to the USA and New Zealand from the exhibition, and due to the success, it was decided to increase stand space for Labelexpo Europe in 2023.
