Slitting Upgrade – Daco ‘SR’ / ‘SI’ Inspection Slitter Rewinder

Slitting upgrade to the Daco SR and SI which are now supplied with a dual slitting knife configuration as standard.

Due to the nature of substrates now being printed on modern flexographic label presses, we decided to upgrade the slitting assembly on both machines. Both machines are now supplied with rotary shear knife (scissor slitting) and the assembly now includes the option to fit razor slitting for films etc. Razor slitting can easily be fitted at a later date if need by the machine user.

The Daco ‘SR’ is available in 350mm (13.75″) and 430mm (17″) web widths.

 

Slitting

• 3 quick set rotary scissor slitting knives (shear knife).
• Minimum slit width: 13mm (0.51″).
• Lateral knife adjustment: +/- 8mm (0.31″).
• Removable interlock cutter guard for easy access to the slitting knives and anvils.
• Dual knife box configuration to allow for razor slitting to be also fitted.

 

The Daco ‘SI’ is available in 350mm (13.75″) and 430mm (17″) web widths.

 

Slitting

• 3 rotary scissor slitting knives (shear knife).
• Knife separation – Allows for easy setting of the knife and anvil with the web in place.
• Minimum slit width: 13mm (0.51″).
• Lateral knife adjustment: +/- 5mm (0.196″).
• Dual knife box configuration to allow for razor slitting to be also fitted.
